The 14-year-old actor recently signed a long-term contract with the ABC soap. Alderson's new status with the show comes as a major storyline is planned for his on-screen alter ego in the new year. In fact, the show has already cast several roles that will be key in the upcoming story.
In addition to his work on One Life to Live, Alderson appeared as Sanford Clark in last year's high-profile feature film, Changeling.
Alderson is the real-life brother of actress Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning).
