Robert S. Woods inks a new contract
Long-time One Life to Live star Robert S. Woods will remain planted in Llanview for the foreseeable future. Woods recently signed a new multi-year contract that will have him playing Bo through the middle of the decade. The Emmy winner joined the OLTL cast in 1979.
Robert S. Woods (
Bo Buchanan) won't be going anywhere soon thanks to a new contract. A published report says that the Emmy-winning star has signed a new, multi-year deal to remain on One Life to Live.
Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Woods has signed a four-year contract that would keep him in Llanview through 2014. Woods is now the third high-profile veteran to ink a new long-term deal in recent months. Last year,
Erika Slezak (Viki Davidson) and
Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord) both announced that they'd signed new contracts.
Woods won a Daytime Emmy in 1983 as Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series. He's picked up an additional five Emmy nominations since that time.
Woods joined the cast of One Life to Live in 1979. He's been a member of the cast every year since, with the exception of a two-year break from 1986 to 1988.
