Amanda Setton opts to exit One Life to Live

Amanda Setton has made a surprise exit from One Life to Live. The actress, who made her first appearance in Llanview six months ago, will try her hand at primetime projects.


According to published reports, Amanda Setton (Kimberly Andrews) has opted to leave One Life to Live. The actress, who has been on recurring status since joining the show in August 2009, will try her hand at opportunities outside daytime.


Daytime Confidential states that Setton had recently been offered a contract with the ABC soap. Setton, however, passed on the offer and announced her plans to move to California in advance of pilot season.


Prior to joining the cast of One Life to Live, Setton appeared on Penelope Shafai on the primetime teen soap, Gossip Girls.


It is unclear at this time whether or not the role of Kim will be recast. A spokesperson for One Life to Live was not immediately available for comment.


Setton taped her final scenes at One Life to Live on February 19.
