Paul Satterfield orginated the role of Spencer Truman on One Life to Live beginning May 25, 2005. Mr. Truman arrived in Llanview with an agenda and will make trouble for a few citizens in town with whom he shares a past.
Mr. Satterfield was born in Nashville, Tennessee and raised in California. He attended Whitman College in Washington on a basketball scholarship earning degrees in 17th Century English Literature and Dramatic Arts. Mr. Satterfield decided to pursue a fulltime acting career after graduation in 1984 and moved to Los Angeles.
After working in theatre, feature films, television commercials and appearing in international print campaigns, Mr. Satterfield landed the role of Paul Hornsby on ABC Daytime's General Hospital. He remained on General Hospital for 3 years and then went on to star on the primetime series Hotel Malibu.
After numerous guest starring roles in primetime, he began working with Aaron Spelling. His first role with Mr. Spelling was as "Tom Massick" on Savannah followed by a starring role on Pacific Palisades. A year later, he returned to daytime on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Mr. Satterfield continued to land diverse role in film, televison and theatre including the feature film Bruce Almighty and the Gary Marshall directed play Crimes of the Heart. He also appeared in the primetime pilots Coupling and Inside Schwartz.
Mr. Satterfield is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys song writing, coaching and wildlife habitat conservation.
