Though she's been front and center for many weeks, up until recently Kelli McCarty (Beth Wallace) has not been under contract with the show.

McCarty received a phone call from show executives on her birthday - September 6th - to inform her that she'd been put on contract. McCarty says she was overjoyed that the show extended her a contract especially since she's been pretty much working fulltime recently.

McCarty joined the cast of Passions in 1999.
