Passions Recasts Jessica Bennett

Six months following the decision to pass on renewing her contract,
Jade Harlow (
Jessica Bennett) has been replaced as Passions' Jessica.
Harlow decided last August that she would not re-sign her contract with the fledgling NBC soap. A show spokesperson told Soap Opera Central that there were no immediate plans to recast the role of Jessica and that Harlow would remain with the show in recurring capacity.
Harlow joined the cast of Passions in the Spring of 2000 after original cast member Mary Elizabeth Winstead asked to be released from her contract.
Beginning July 10th, actress Danica Stewart will take over the role of Jessica, the youngest - and sometimes overlooked - member of the Bennett family. While still a relative newcomer to daytime, Stewart does have some previous experience on the soaps. For a brief period of time, Stewart portrayed Maxie Jones on ABC's
General Hospital.
