Chad confronts Whitney about seeing her in Fox's arms. Whitney explains that Fox is in love with Theresa. Chad suspects Fox really has a thing for Whit, who is taken aback by the suggestion.
At the hospital, Ethan tries to talk a confused Gwen out of staying at the apartment. Gwen thinks she knows why her husband doesn't want to stay there. Meanwhile, Theresa can't accept a future without Ethan, as Fox offers her a shoulder to cry on. Theresa comes up with a plan to win Ethan back.
Hank tries to help Luis accept that Sheridan sending the ring back means things are over between them. Meanwhile, Beth has to talk fast when Charlie confronts her about her feelings for Luis. In the basement, Sheridan begins having pains again. Fearing her baby is in danger, Sheridan begs Charlie for a doctor.
Kay gets to finally hold her daughter, but the joy is short-lived when Maria begins having breathing problems. Charity worries the baby could die even after all she's sacrificed.
Theresa plots to get Ethan by playing the damsel in distress. Fox tries to distract her and they begin to have a good time. Chad warns Whitney not to play matchmaker, but she's excited to see Fox and her best friend together.
Gwen asks Ethan if he is still in love with Theresa when he reacts negatively to the idea of his ex and Fox getting together.
Luis continues to be devastated over Sheridan, as Beth schemes to make him her own. Luis wants to take Beth home to pamper her. In the pit, Sheridan's water breaks and she goes into labor. Charlie, Mrs. Wallace and Precious panic. Sheridan is reunited with someone she loves dearly.
