Kay and the gang are finally compromising on having a double wedding. Upstairs in Maria's room, Tabitha is very close to Miguel's letter that Endora has hidden in the doll, and she suspects that something is amiss with Endora's behavior. She asks Endora if she is lying to her mommy. Tabitha picks up the doll and notices that the head is loose but does not sense the letter inside. Endora remains quiet. Tabitha concludes that one of Endora's friends broke the doll and tries to fix it. Endora lies to Tabitha by agreeing with her. Tabitha goes downstairs to keep an eye on Kay and the gang. She wishes them well on their wedding plans and tells them that she hopes they beat the odds. The date that was set for the wedding is off because the church is booked up, so Tabitha offers to use magic. Miguel tells her that she is not to use magic.
Soon after that, Noah and Paloma see a bat flying over their heads and wonder what's going on. Miguel reminds Tabitha about not practicing magic, but it's not her this time. It's Endora. Kay and Tabitha pretend that it's a remote controlled toy and ask Endora to use a remote and pretend to make it stop. She does, and everything goes back to normal again for now. Paloma suggests postponing the wedding for a year or calling it off altogether. Endora uses magic and causes the phone to ring, and Kay gets a message telling her that the church finally has an opening. Miguel asks Kay if she and Tabitha have anything to do with it, and they both deny it, but Miguel refuses to believe them. Kay volunteers to take a test, and Tabitha agrees because she has nothing to hide, but Endora doesn't want to take the test because she does have something to hide. Tabitha states that she would not use the device on Endora, so she is off the hook for the test.
Juanita tells Theresa that after killing her and Pilar, she is going to use her cell phone to destroy the rest of Theresa's family. Immediately, Theresa reaches for her cell phone, throws it to the ground, and stomps on it, rendering it useless. Juanita threatens to kill her right then and there, but changes her mind since she is waiting for Pilar to send Theresa to hell. In addition, Juanita makes it known that she will not drop her vendetta against Pilar's family until each and every one of them is dead. Theresa tells Juanita to think of Jesus, and that angers her even more. Immediately thereafter, Pilar walks in the room demanding that Juanita leave Theresa alone. Juanita holds the gun to Pilar's throat and blames her for the loss of her family. Pilar tells Juanita to do as she promised and let Theresa go, but Juanita tells her that she has no intentions of letting Theresa go and intends to kill every single member of Pilar's family. Juanita then proceeds to hold the gun to Theresa's head. Pilar begs Juanita, but it's all in vain. Juanita lowers the gun, and Pilar thanks her, but Juanita is just warming up. She picks up a knife instead and tells Pilar that Theresa deserves to die slowly, so she holds the knife to Theresa's throat and tells Pilar to watch while she kills Theresa.
Pilar begs Juanita to let Theresa go, but Juanita ignores her. Pilar tells Juanita that she has no idea what her late husband was like, so Juanita throws Theresa aside to argue with Pilar in defense of her late husband. She admits that she realized what Carlos was up to, but she claims that it was honorable. Pilar tells her that what he was doing was murdering people. Juanita holds her head and tells Pilar that she cannot take it anymore, so she turns on the alarm and locks them in the room, giving them one more day of life. She warns them about the security system so they cannot escape. Pilar tells Theresa that she left an urgent fax at the hotel front desk. The fax is a letter that details what has been going on, and Luis will receive it and send the FBI to rescue them. Theresa is excited that they are going to be rescued, but the wind has blown the letter off the counter straight into the garbage. Back in Harmony, Luis questions Paloma about Theresa's whereabouts, but Paloma doesn't know.
Fancy reflects back on what happened at the cottage and wonders what is wrong with her. Meanwhile, Pretty is standing behind a shelf, with the device in her hand, stating that Fancy is under her control. Luis sees Pretty and questions why she is spying on Fancy. She denies it at first, and then admits that she is keeping an eye on Fancy for her own safety. Luis admires that and tells Pretty that she is very caring. Pretty tells herself that Luis will give up Fancy for her, any day now. In addition, she tells Luis that Fancy is deranged and is used to having these outbursts. Luis defends Fancy and decides to go talk with her in order to work things out. Luis sits down and start talking to Fancy, and the conversation is normal until Pretty decides to activate the device and uses it on Fancy. Fancy has a few twitches, and then proceeds to tell Luis off regarding him and Sheridan. Pretty seems to be having a field day after witnessing Fancy going off on Luis. She then goes to Fancy's rescue, and Fancy calls her the "elephant woman," who reminds her of watching the movie "Night of The Living Dead." Pretty pretends to be hurt and runs off. Luis questions why Fancy would treat Pretty that way and tells her that he doesn't know who she is anymore. Fancy tells him to stay away from her and storms out. Pretty tries to gain sympathy from Luis by acting pitiful; Luis rubs her back but it is without emotional attachment. Pretty pretends to go after Fancy to help her, and Luis is grateful for her help and support. She tells Luis that all she wants is what's best for him, and she states to herself that she is best for Luis. Fancy ends up on the wharf complaining about a terrible headache. Noah comes by, and she tells him about the headache. Pretty watches in the dark and decides to use another frequency on the device. This time, Fancy seduces Noah and kisses him even though he didn't want to. Pretty decides to call Luis in order for him to see the type of person Fancy is.
Both Paloma and Luis think that a few people are acting out of character, so it's very unlikely that Theresa has a new man. Luis uses Fancy as an example of someone who is behaving out of character in that one minute she is calm, and in the next minute she is irrational. Paloma suggests to Luis that Fancy might have a brain tumor, and that would explain her mood swings. Since Fancy won't talk to Luis, he doesn't know how to talk her into getting a brain scan.
Down on the wharf, Pretty continues to control the device in Fancy's brain, and Fancy is trying her best to seduce Noah, but Noah tells her that he is engaged to be married to Paloma and cannot behave in such a manner. Noah questions Fancy's behavior, and Fancy wants to know why Noah is such a prude. Pretty thinks that she deserves to be with Luis, so she turns up the device in hopes that Fancy will become a total sleaze. Fancy is ravenous and cannot keep her hands off Noah. Noah forcefully tells her to stop because this is not like her and that she is in love with Luis and he is in love with Paloma. Pretty calls Luis and points him in the direction of the wharf because she wants him to see Fancy kissing Noah.
Paloma and Luis see Fancy kissing Noah passionately while Pretty is in the dark smiling. Paloma tells Noah that she cannot believe what she is seeing, and Noah tells her that he can explain. Paloma tells him that it won't work this time and that she will never forgive him. She runs off with Noah pursuing her. Luis asks Fancy to explain herself, but she doesn't have an answer. Meanwhile, Pretty tries to change the frequency of the device, but the knob falls out. She recovers it and turns the dial to "sleaze." Fancy then starts to kiss Luis passionately as if nothing else has happened. Luis is shocked at Fancy's behavior. Pretty changes the frequency, and this time, Fancy is angry at Luis. She lashes out at him then walks away. Noah catches up with Paloma and tries to explain things to her, but she doesn't want to believe him and tells him that she never wants to see him again.
Despite getting Theresa out of the way so that she can have Ethan, Gwen is curious to know Theresa's whereabouts. Rebecca wonders if Theresa went to Mexico and spilled her guts, however, Gwen doesn't think that Theresa is dumb enough to risk death for Ethan. Rebecca tells Gwen not to worry about Theresa because Gwen has won Ethan. Gwen tells Rebecca that she is glad that the threat to Pilar worked and that she never had to follow through with it since that would have put her family in danger. Esme has her eyes set on Ethan because she thinks that Theresa has run off with another man. That doesn't sit well with Viki because she does not want anyone taking Esme away from her. She has killed all of Esme's previous men, so she will not hesitate to kill Ethan. Viki imagines Esme being married to Ethan, and she pictures Ethan sending her off to boarding school. She tells herself that she will kill Ethan first before he gets the opportunity to marry Esme.
Meanwhile, Ethan is on the phone trying to track down Theresa. He cannot seem to find Theresa, so he focuses on getting the adoption papers together for Esme adopting Viki. Esme tries to twist Ethan's arms into asking her out while an angry Viki looks on with a knife tucked inside her robe. Rebecca tells Gwen that Esme is after Ethan, but Gwen doesn't want to believe the worst when it comes to Ethan. They walk in the living room to inquire what Ethan and Esme are doing and Rebecca points out to Gwen that there is something strange about Viki. Ethan leaves the living room but has to go back for some papers. He is unaware that Viki is lurking in the shadows waiting to kill him. Viki stabs Ethan through the curtains and walks off.
Back in Mexico, while Pilar is sleeping, Theresa apologizes to her about going to Mexico against her will. She then starts singing a song in remembrance of Ethan. While singing, she reflects back on the good times she has had with Ethan. Returning to Juanita's home causes Pilar to remember clearly what Carlos did to her years ago. Theresa asks Pilar why she kept such a horrible secret without telling anyone about it, and Pilar tells her that Ivy and Father Lonigan knew. Theresa starts to cry and states that if Juanita kills them, she will never get to tell Ethan the truth about Little Ethan and that she did it out of love. Theresa realizes that being in Mexico gives Gwen exactly what she wants. Pilar thinks that Luis should have gotten the fax by now, but the wind blew it in the garbage, so no one had a chance to send it. Theresa wants to try to break the code so that they could get out, and Pilar seems to think that the code would be the anniversary date of Carlos's death. Pilar tries entering the code, and it works. She and Theresa make a run for it and hope that Juanita won't catch up with them.
Theresa and Pilar have escaped Juanita's compound and run for their lives. Juanita is furious, demanding her goons find the women right away, dead or alive, as the two find their way to the wharf, looking for some way to escape! Meanwhile, Ethan gets a mysterious call from Mexico telling him that Theresa and Pilar are there and in grave danger.
Gwen and Rebecca are shocked to learn Theresa is in Mexico and try to stop Ethan from going to rescue them, fearing he will learn their secret -- that they have been blackmailing Theresa and Pilar.
It looks like Viki has stabbed Ethan but it turns out she actually gave Rebecca a minor wound. Viki races upstairs, vowing to take care of Ethan as soon as she gets her chance. Julian, Sam and Ethan search the mansion for the attacker and find a trail of blood leading right to Viki's bedroom.
Tabitha relieves her stress with a chocolate binge as Miguel continues his magic ban. Noah pleads his innocence to a disbelieving Luis and Paloma, nothing is going on between him and Fancy!
