At a Glance

On October 16, 2002, Liza Huber returned to the role she originated at Passions' launch, the exquisitely beautiful and intelligent debutante Gwen Winthrop. Gwen is intelligent and self-assured, yet she must continuously fight her rival, Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald Crane, for the love of her childhood sweetheart Ethan Winthrop.

Huber, the daughter of daytime legend Susan Lucci, has spent her time since the fall of 2000 working with renowned acting coach Alan Savage. She has also studied at The Terry Schreiber Studio, The Lee Strasberg Institute and The Lynette Sheldon Actor's Studio. Additionally, Huber has trained in improvisation at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with Richard Schechner and received her undergraduate degree with a specialty in Communications with Film Production from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In addition to Passions, Huber made her television movie debut in Lifetime Television's original film Ebbie. On stage she has appeared in Four Dogs and a Bone at the Harold Clurman Theatre. Currently, Huber is signed with the famous Ford Modeling Agency for commercial work.

Born on February 22, Huber grew up on Long Island, NY where she was a competitive equestrian. She serves on the Junior Committee to support Little Flowers Children's Services of New York, is an avid skier and golfer, and is fluent in German and Italian.
