Week of February 1
Hollywood Week begins with a pass-the-mic challenge, giving the contestants a chance to make their first impressions on the judges. In Day Two, the infamous group singing challenges causes more than just a little drama.

Week of February 8
The final two days of Hollywood Week. On Tuesday, the contestants were broken into four different groups. On Wednesday, the Final 36 were determined -- with a dramatic new feature: the sing off!

The first group of twelve performs for their chance at a spot in the Final Twelve. The theme is Billboard Hot 100 hits and the deck is stacked with many male contenders -- and Tatianna.

Week of March 1
The final group of semi-finalists competes for the final three spots in the finals. Plus, the judges make their wildcard selections to round out the Top 12 plus one.

Motown week proved difficult for some of the singers. Lil struggled with "Heat Wave," but Adam floored the judges -- and guest mentor Smokey Robinson -- with his rendition of "Tracks of My Tears."

Contestants could pick any song, as long as it was a popular download on iTunes. The choices were questionable in some cases. In the end, a Bob Marley song fell Megan Joy.

This week, contestants sang songs from the year that they were born. There were no golden oldies, as the oldest song came from 1980.

The theme was movie week, and some of the song choices were a bit surprising. When one contestant is voted off, the judges finally decide to use their save.
