The TVMaze episode guide puts it simply:

“The firm takes on their toughest, and most personal mediation yet.”

With a show that dives into new, emotional cases every week, this feels like a big moment, maybe even a game-changer for one of the main characters.

We know that Carrington Lane (Sarah Paulson) has already been through a lot. Her storyline is packed with emotion, especially in Episode 5. We saw her cracked open, struggling with her daughter, dealing with scars from self-harm, and teaming up with Alberta Dome, who is supposed to be her rival.

If All’s Fair Episode 6 keeps pulling at those threads, we will probably see Carrington’s personal life collide with her work again, especially if the case hits too close to home.

Dina Standish (Glenn Close) is walking a tightrope, too. Her husband Doug is getting worse health-wise, and you can feel the stress piling up. Earlier episodes hinted at her bracing for loss, and now, with this “personal mediation,” there is a good chance she will see herself in the client or end up facing her own struggles head-on.

Then there are Allura and Liberty, the firm’s co-founders. Their lives are tangled together, both at work and outside of it. This mediation could push their partnership to the edge, testing what the firm really stands for and how solid their bond actually is.

In the background, there is still the whole mess with Lloyd Walton’s murder. It has been simmering all season, with suspicion hanging in the air. Not every episode puts it front and center, but you can see the pressure building. As relationships shift and secrets start leaking out, this “very personal” mediation might just drag all that drama back into the spotlight in All’s Fair Episode 6.

Ryan Murphy and Joe Baken wrote All’s Fair Episode 6. This season doesn’t stick to just one creative team, as Lyn Greene, Richard Levine, Jamie Pachino, and Anthony Hemingway all take turns writing and directing. The show comes from Ryan Murphy Productions, Kris Jenner Productions, and 20th Television. The series has a whole polished look, and the story unfolds week by week, keeping you hooked.

Meanwhile, critics haven’t been kind to the series. They have called out the flat writing, weak character development, and performances that just don’t land. Kim Kardashian especially gets a lot of heat, with viewers keeping asking if she brings anything real to the show or if she is just there for the flash.

Still, the show pulls in a ton of viewers. Some tune in just to roast it, others love the over-the-top drama.
