Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode brought back the classmates and new drama for Jay-jay. And episode 3 turned out be an emotional ride for her as she struggles to understand her feelings for Yuri and Keifer.
The episode starts with the students returning to class and Jay overthinking about whom to choose. She likes Keifer, but cannot afford to hurt Yuri, too. She's engaged to Hanamich, and breaking things off at this moment could cost Angelo his business.
And while she's into her thoughts, the professor asks Jay to answer the questions. And since she was busy with the most difficult question, she couldn't answer in class.
After class, both Keifer and Yuri ask Jay if she has plans for the weekend. However, she ignores their texts and messages until Yuri himself comes to pick her up, followed by an emotional confrontation with Keifer at the end of the episode.
Not only this, episode 3 of Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side also reveals a lot about Percy and his relationship with Jay's father. The most startling part comes when Jay sees her father's picture and Percy in it.

Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 3: Jay learns the truth about the necklace
As episode 3 of Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side continues, Ci-N insists that Jay buy him some Yogorino. Initially, she refuses, but Ci-N's emotional blackmail works. Jay decides to buy him the desert and while she's waiting for her order at the shop, she meets David.
Jay also enjoys her favorite flavour while talking to David. And since Keifer has been messaging her, David asks if she's dating him. This shocks her, and Jay accidentally spits her dessert on David's shirt.
And as she helps him clean it, David sees the ring in her necklace. She tells David that it has been given to her, and she cannot wear it right now. Jay-jay then asks David about the necklace from Season 1.
And she finally learns that it was sent by Percy. Jay gets curious and asks more about Percy, but David only gives her limited information. He reveals that Percy contacts him only when he wants, and no one knows about it, except Jay-jay now.
Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 3 recap: Keifer accompanies Jay at the supermarket
Later in episode 3 of Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side, Jay goes shopping with Emaan. Keifer knew about her plans, so she showed up and teased Jay. He noticed her buying a lollipop, which is Keifer's favorite.
And when he questions her, Jay brushes off his concern and takes the sweets for everyone. However, Keifer then mentions that it's a waste to buy him lollipops as he craves something else now.
Jay starts blushing when Keifer says that the sweet is none other than her lips. Later, her takes her to his house, where other boys, including the group's tech guy, Erix is also present.

When Jay-jay reaches Keifer's house, the boys help her find out a little information about her father. Edrix was able to get some pictures, and the biggest question arises when she sees Percy with her father.
Does that mean she's related to Percy? Well, fans who've read Book 2 know the answer, and others will find it out gradually. Even the boys are trying to find out how Percy is related to Jay's father and whether her's alive or the picture is old.
Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 3: David and Percy's deal explained
Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 3 also reveals the deal between David and Percy. The reason why David is helping Percy is that his girlfriend is seriously ill and only Percy could find her a doctor who agreed to treat her.
So, while Percy ensures the girl's treatment, David is helping him share what's happening with Jay and the boys. Before hanging up, Percy also told David not to fall in love with Jay. And his expression suggested that David is now confused.
Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 3: Yuri spends the day with Jay-jay
Later in episode 3 of Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side, Yuri picks up Jay from her house. He takes her to the church, and then the two enjoy cooking at his home.
Yuri also showed pictures from the past, including the Section E boys' last picture with Percy. They open up to each other about their sturggles and Jay also mentions her fear of blood. Yuri consoles her and motivates Jay to stay positive about herself.
He then once again confesses his love, claiming that he can wait for her. And just like before, Yuri kisses Jay on her cheeks. This leaves her a little uncomfortable, but Jay cannot express it due to the engagement.
Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 3 ending explained: Keifer breaks down in front of Jay
After Yuri drops Jay home, Keifer pulls her inside his car and takes hr to a quiet place. He questions what she did with Yuri today, and forces Jay to reveal everything, including the kiss.
Keifer is deeply hurt and asks if she likes Yuri. Jay, frustarted an confused too, agrees that she likes Yuri. But Keifer proves that Jay was lying as she responded to his New Year's Eve kiss and even agreed to accompany him today.
Keifer couldn't control himself and broke down, expressing how he has never been anyone's priority. Even the Section E boys mentioned that Yuri must be saved first from the accident, just because he is weak.
And nobody really cares about Keifer, who has grown up without a mother and even raised his brothers in his own. He has the cruelest father, who doesn't love him. And after experiencing all of this, Keifer pleads with Jay-jay not to behave like everyone else.
His emotional breakdown melts Jay-jay and helps her realize her feelings. She finally says, "I love you too Keifer," and hugs him tightly. By the end of episode 3 of Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side, Jay admits that she also loves Keifer, not Yuri.
