Sean Combs: The Reckoning is set to release on December 2. The docuseries is executively produced by Curtis James Jackson III, famously known by his stage name 50 Cent, and Alexandria Stapleton, famous for Reggie and Pride. The trailer of Sean Combs: The Reckoning was released on November 25 on Netflix's YouTube channel. Although the trailer didn't show any visuals of Diddy, it featured a voiceover of Mark Curry, who was heard saying:

"You can't continue to keep hurting people and nothing ever happens."

At another point, Bad Boy rapper Mark Curry is heard saying:

"It's just a matter of time."

According to Netflix, the docuseries is both investigative and emotional. It fits within crime TV shows while also touching on the world of hip-hop, which Diddy is famous for. The official synopsis of the docuseries reads:

"This documentary series unpacks the shocking allegations behind Sean "Diddy" Combs and his Bad Boy empire, spanning decades of his life and career."

How many parts are there in Sean Combs: The Reckoning?

Sean Combs: The Reckoning will have a total of four parts in the upcoming docuseries executively produced by 50 Cent. However, Netflix hasn't shared the exact length of each episode yet. From what we can guess, they will probably run mostly between forty-five and seventy minutes each, based on the length of Netflix's previous famous docuseries.

Netflix's Depp v. Heard had three episodes, each around fifty minutes, while another docuseries, Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, ran four episodes, each about an hour long.

Once released, Diddy's docuseries will be exclusively available on Netflix.

What is Sean Combs: The Reckoning about?

According to Netflix, the upcoming series on Sean "Diddy" Combs is about:

"a staggering examination of the media mogul, music legend, and convicted offender."

A lawsuit against Diddy from his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura was filed in November 2023 for being abused and forced into sessions with male escorts by Sean Combs. Last year, in September, Diddy was taken into custody. Later, during the investigation, authorities found baby oil and lubricants from his house, along with getting more details about the freak-off parties. A video also surfaced in which Diddy was seen hitting Cassie in a hotel.

The case eventually led to more lawsuits against the music mogul, with many people coming forward to share their experiences and how Diddy affected their lives.

In May this year, court started Diddy's trial with many witnesses and testifiers coming forward to share their own experiences. Videotapes were also shown from the freak-off parties. After the trial ended, the court found him guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution.

As a result, he is serving a four-year prison sentence. He is currently at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution.

Speaking of Sean Combs: The Reckoning, 50 Cent told Netflix:

"I’ve been committed to real storytelling for years through G-Unit Film and Television. I’m grateful to everyone who came forward and trusted us with their stories, and proud to have Alexandria Stapleton as the director on the project to bring this important story to the screen."

According to Alexandria Stapleton, the docuseries:

"This isn’t just about the story of Sean Combs or the story of Cassie, or the story of any of the victims, or the allegations against him, or the trial. Ultimately, this story is a mirror [reflecting us] as the public, and what we are saying when we put our celebrities on such a high pedestal. I hope [this documentary] is a wake-up call for how we idolize people, and to understand that everybody is a human being,"

According to Netflix, this four-part docuseries, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, features never-before-seen footage and interviews with people close to Combs. With a week left for its release, viewers are excited to see what Netflix shows about his life.
