Will is seen using supernatural powers to destroy Demomorgons, when his eyes turn while and his nose starts to bleed. The fans, for the first time, witness how it isn't the same as Eleven. Will has a different kind of ability.

As mentioned, when Vecna, in episode 4 of Stranger Things, calls Will full name and tells him to help one more time, many viewers believe this means Will has always had a deeper connection to Vecna or the Upside Down. This is now turning into a major power and fueling the "Reverse Vecna" theory.

It was since season 1 that the show has foreshadowed Will's connection to the Upside Down. He was able to feel cold chills, the visions, and the shadow monster inside him. But in Season 5, this connection intensifies, allowing him to sense Venca's presence instantly. He can feel the hive mind's emotions and also locate portals, predict attacks. He can now respond to the creature immediately, and this makes him the exact opposite of Vecna.
