The nominees for this year's Daytime Emmy Awards will be announced on Thursday, March 4th live on NBC's Today Show. The nominations to be broadcast include the Leading and Supporting Actor and Actress categories as well as the Outstanding Drama Series field.

Soap Opera Central will feature complete coverage of the nominations throughout the day.

If you are wondering who has the potential to be nominated this year, you can review the list of pre-nominees for each show. Last year the Emmy board instituted a pre-nomination phase to help level the playing field for all soaps. Each soap holds its on pre-Emmy voting and selects two performers (or more if there ends up being a tie) in each category to ultimately compete against the other soaps' pre-nominees for a place on the final Emmy ballot.
