Soap Opera Central is on the move - but, we're really not going anywhere. If that sounds confusing, please allow us a few moments of your time to explain everything.

Soap Opera Central is committed to providing the many visitors of the Soap Central site with the best possible Internet experience. It's not an easy task keeping up with all the latest soap news - and which characters are sleeping together this week. But providing the best information possible is just one aspect of our mission.

Beginning this week, Soap Opera Central will be upgrading the servers (computers) that host our web site. During this transitional period, it is possible that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) may not "recognize" that we've moved and continue to send you to our old servers. If you've reached this page by clicking on the IMPORTANT NOTICE message, your ISP is one of those affected. You are currently on our new server.

By week's end, you should automatically be redirected to our new site whenever you type "soapcentral.com" into your web browser. In the meantime, you may have to continue to click on that IMPORTANT NOTICE to be transferred over to the new server. The new server will feature all of the latest news and recaps; the old servers may not appear to be updated on your end.

Also during the server transition, we have instituted several other changes:

We've adopted a new message board format, one that we hope users will find easier to use and navigate. The new format is also designed to save you time by presenting all of the posts in a message thread in one, easy to digest format. As with any change, it does take some time to get accustomed to the new boards. We ask that you be patient and watch as the boards grow and change to better serve all of our visitors' needs.

The new message board comes complete with a new registration system. If you have not yet registered for the new boards during our testing phase, you will need to register before you can post to the boards. The username and passwords being used on our old message boards will not work on the new boards. All visitors will be able to read the posts. Only registered users will be able to post.

The new registration system described above is also being used for our contests and polls. Again, your previous registration information will not function on the new server.

If you have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can use our new Feedback form to reach us and we will make every effort to reply to your message.
