Updating your Blog Profile on soapcentral.com

Since not everyone is familiar with the blogging process, we've created a series of tutorials to help bring you up to speed on the process and to make the process a little clearer. This tutorial explains how to update your profile and let other soap fans know more about you.
By clicking on the "My Profile" link in the navigation menu, you will arrive at a page that looks similar to the graphic below. Here is an explanation of this page.

Your profile is a good way for other
soapcentral
.com users to learn more about you and your interests. It is also where you can go to edit your friends list.
Here's how to edit your profile:
1. Click on "My Profile" in the navigation
2. When you arrive on your profile, click the "Personal Profile" tab
3. For the category you wish to edit, click the "Click here to Edit" link.
4. In the text field, enter in your interests relating to the category, separated by commas.
5. Once you are done with a category, simply click off of it and your information will be automatically saved.
Here's how to edit your friend categories:
1. For each of your friends, there is a pull-down bar that allows you to change the category your friend is located in, or remove them from your list.
2.In the pull-down menu, there is also an option to "edit categories" which allows you to add custom friend groupings. You can create different categories for family, colleagues, and so on.
3. The star icon allows you to select which friend's updates appear in your Inbox. When one of your "starred" friends updates their blog, you will receive a notice in your Inbox. Youc an click on that notice and be taken directly to the blog update. By de-selecting it for a specified friend, you will no longer receive this person's updates. This information is not visible to anyone but you.
