The Queens of Drama might be getting a little taste of Dixie... or Rosanna... or maybe Kelly. Emmy winner Cady McClain has had talks with producers of the reality series, which is currently casting its second season.

As the casting process for a second season of the Pop TV reality series Queens of Drama continues, one Emmy-winning actress has confirmed that she's met with the show's producers.

"So I just had a meeting with the folks from @QueensofDrama," Cady McClain shared on Twitter and Facebook. "I thought they were really cool people, and I enjoyed talking about their show and what I might have to offer. No matter what happens, I really hope that the women are successful in making their created show a hit. I think that would be so great for them and for all of daytime. I guess I always root for the underdog and I probably always will."

McClain won Emmys for her work as Dixie Cooney on All My Children and Rosanna Cabot on As the World Turns. She recently wrapped up a run as Kelly Andrews on The Young and the Restless.

Queens of Drama was a breakout hit for the new Pop network during its first season. Though an official announcement has yet to be made about the show's future, a casting call was released last week in an effort to find name soap actresses for the show's upcoming second season. There's no word yet on how many of the show's original cast members -- which included Donna Mills (Madeline Reeves, General Hospital; ex-Abby Ewing, Knots Landing), Crystal Hunt (ex-Stacy Morasco, One Life to Live; ex-Lizzie Spaulding, Guiding Light), Lindsay Hartley (ex-Cara Castillo, All My Children; ex-Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, Passions), Chrystee Pharris (ex-Simone Russell, Passions), and Vanessa Marcil (Brenda Barrett, General Hospital) -- will be returning.

Chrystee Pharris recently talked about her experience on Queens of Drama on the weekly entertainment Kroll Call podcast. You can listen to the interview below.
