ABC is currently developing an hour-long drama series titled The Marquis that could give other primetime soaps a run for their money.

What do Gossip Girl, 666 Park Avenue, and Dirty Sexy Money all have in common? They all sound like ripe inspiration for the new hour-long soap opera ABC has put in development.

Titled The Marquis, the series is "a sexy and twisted character soap set in the most iconic and exclusive building in Manhattan," Deadline reports.

The project is written and executive produced by Jake Coburn, who was a producer and writer on Gossip Girl and Dirty Sexy Money and also worked on Arrow and Quantico.

Additional executive producers include Greg Berlanti (The Flash, Supergirl), Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries), and Sarah Schechter.

What do you think about the premise for The Marquis? Is it something you'd consider watching? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
