Days of our Lives' Billy Flynn and General Hospital's Eden McCoy connect in stan-worthy social media exchange

Emmy-nominated actors Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera, Days of our Lives) and Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks, General Hospital) had a social media exchange that's, like, major BOOM.

Fans probably didn't realize that they wanted Days of our Lives star Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera) and General Hospital star Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) to cross paths until the pair did so right before their social media-scrolling eyes.

The talented stars connected in a simple Twitter exchange lamenting the awfulness of grabbing an Uber at the Los Angeles airport. Flynn tweeted his dismay at the sad ride-sharing situation, and McCoy jumped in on the discussion, agreeing that it's dang near impossible to get an Uber home from LAX. Nothing newsworthy here, we know, but the continuance of the pair's discussion and their admitted admiration of each other did conjure up fantasies of Flynn and McCoy one day sharing the screen together.

"You do great work, by the way," Flynn tweeted to McCoy, adding, "Say hello to your TV mom [Laura Wright, Carly Corinthos] for me."

McCoy responded with, "Thank you so much Billy (*silently fangirling) and I will tell LW hi from you."

He stans, she stans... we all stan as soap fans.

Flynn and McCoy are part of the vital "next generation" of soap opera actors, and if they end up soap hopping as much as the previous generation of daytime stars have done, then the sky's the limit when it comes to the Daytime Emmy nominees possibly connecting on a soap opera in the future. Here's hoping!

In the meantime, fans can look forward to Flynn's return to DAYS on Monday, November 11, when Chad and Abigail (Kate Mansi) make the transition from the soap's online series set in Paris to the broadcast show set in Salem.
