Quick Catch-Up for the Week of September 2, 2013

JR tried to reach out to AJ, but AJ wanted nothing to do with his father. JR apologized to Brooke for accusing her of corrupting his file for the gala. JR admitted that he had been blinded by his anger, so he wanted the opportunity to make things right with the investors. JR apologized to Cara, but she bristled when he accused David of sabotaging his presentation. JR promised that he had stopped taking steroids, but Cara explained that he had jeopardized her career. Dimitri continued to pursue Brooke, but she insisted that she was with Adam. Dimitri was certain that Brooke felt something for him, so he kissed her again. Brooke was determined to keep her relationship with Dimitri professional, so he agreed to respect her wishes. Jesse and Angie discussed his career options, prompting Angie to suggest that Jesse open his own private investigation agency. Colby asked David to leave JR alone, but David growled that JR had killed Marissa and had destroyed Babe's life. Colby was sorry that David's daughters were dead, but she believed that JR had been punished enough. Tad decided to return to Pine Valley.

What happened during the week of September 2, 2013

Wyatt kissed Hope in Liam's house again and asked her to move out with him. Hope, however, declined, and to no avail, she talked to Liam on Wyatt's behalf. Bill spoke to Brooke about Wyatt, and she persuaded him to eventually rethink his position about his son. Wyatt returned to the warehouse loft and became worried that his breakup with his family meant that he wouldn't see Hope again. The Forresters worked on a new jewelry line for HFTF, and Hope asked Quinn and Wyatt to be the signature designers for the line. While Rick and Caroline reunited, Carter comforted Maya.

Sonny and Gabi fought when Sonny found out that Gabi was sleeping with Nick. Nick suggested to a frustrated Gabi that she should move out of Will and Sonny's apartment. Gabi threatened Sonny that she would move out if he told Will about her and Nick, and Will would have less time to spend with Arianna. Caroline gave Nick a piece of her mind. Brady asked Eric to marry him and Kristen. Kristen told a surprised Brady that she did not want Eric to marry them. Eric had more flashbacks of a mysterious woman the night that he got sick. ?Stefano visited Rafe at the hospital and made sure that he was unable to call for help. Kate threatened Stefano and warned him to stay away from Rafe. Kate tried to rattle Jordan. Marlena and Nicole teamed up to take down Kristen. Adrienne found evidence that might help Sami's case. E.J. pushed Justin to move forward with Sami's trial, even though Justin advised against it. Later, Justin asked E.J. if he had planted the money in Bernardi's son's account. Jennifer was beside herself when she learned that J.J. had been arrested for dealing drugs. Jennifer told J.J. that she was onto him and blasted him for lying to her since his return to Salem. Theresa learned of J.J.'s arrest and worried that he would name her as a party to the drug deal.

Olivia feared the worst when she found an alarming note from Sonny. Michael and Morgan agreed to put their differences aside to search for Sonny. Connie appeared to Sonny when he was at his lowest point and persuaded him to marry her. Olivia arrived as Sonny was about to take his own life. Michael enlisted Elizabeth's help to keep A.J. from throwing his life away. A.J. pleaded not guilty to killing Connie. Diane asked a judge to dismiss Franco's case because his tumor had been responsible for his crime spree. Britt confessed to Patrick that he was not the father of her unborn son. Patrick demanded to know who the father of the baby was, so Britt claimed that it was Brad. Nikolas insisted that Brad step up to the plate to help Britt raise the baby, but Brad refused. Sabrina decided to confront Britt about the lies that Britt had told, but things took an unexpected turn when Britt went into labor. Spinelli opted to keep quiet about his daughter because he believed that she belonged with Dante and Lulu. Julian was given the green light to proceed with the bone marrow donation. Sam and Silas shared a kiss, but Sam insisted that she and Silas keep things platonic because she wanted to focus on Danny.

Nina, Brock, Danny, Amber, and Gina returned to Genoa City for Katherine's memorial service. Nina forgave Paul for choosing Christine over her. Father Todd presided over the service, which was held at a beautiful spot in the park. The guests shared laughter and tears as they recounted their cherished memories of Katherine. Murphy delivered a letter from Katherine to Paul during the service. Nikki and Jill wondered if Katherine had deliberately arranged for them to work together to plan the memorial. Murphy announced that Katherine's last gift was the park itself, and he revealed a placard that named it Chancellor Park. Nick and Avery decided to have their wedding in the park. Paul read Katherine's letter, which implored him to marry Christine right away, and he proposed. The guests arranged an impromptu wedding, and Father Todd pronounced Paul and Christine husband and wife. Adam and Victor clashed when Adam discovered that Victor had bugged Adam's office. Adam vowed to be the last man standing. Victoria rallied Abby and Noah to help if Adam tried to take the company away from Victor. Noah contemplated what to do with his life. Victor learned that Jack was Adam's secret investor, and he confronted Jack. Dylan blamed himself for Connor's possible eye disorder, and he wanted to research his family's genetics. Anita and Chelsea reconciled, and they plotted to keep Adam from finding out about Connor's condition. Adam overheard Dylan tell Billy that Connor might have a degenerative eye disease and could go blind.
