Quinn overheard Liam asking Hope to cancel the jewelry contract and cozied up to Eric in hopes of shoring up the deal. Eric declined Hope's request to cancel the contract, and the happy Quinn kissed Eric. Quinn later apologized for the kiss, but Eric kissed her again. Though Wyatt volunteered to walk away from the deal for Hope's sake, Hope kept the deal intact. Liam received news that Steffy had signed the annulment papers, and Hope and Liam confirmed their desire to get married. Wyatt, however, asked Hope to cancel the wedding and give him a chance. Maya accepted Carter's marriage proposal, and after a poignant goodbye talk with Rick, Maya made love to Carter.

E.J.'s plan to help Sami backfired when an FBI expert testified that the money in Timmy's account had been planted there after Bernardi had died. Realizing that he was out of options, E.J. reluctantly turned to Stefano for help. Stefano agreed to help E.J., but not without forcing E.J. to pay a heavy price for the favor. Abe and Hope received a tip that led them to new evidence in Sami's case. Justin used social media to leak a rumor about the evidence so that Melinda wouldn't be able to hide it from the judge, forcing her to drop all of the charges against Sami. Sonny reluctantly continued to keep Gabi's secret from Will after she reminded Sonny of what was at stake. Nick got possessive when he witnessed an innocent moment between Gabi and Cameron. Chad and Abigail took their relationship to the next level. Chad later started the next phase of his plan to make Cameron believe that Chad was receiving treatment for a brain tumor that was actually nonexistent. After overhearing a conversation between Abigail and Gabi that made him realize that Abigail had slept with Chad, Cameron confronted Chad and warned him to refrain from hurting Abigail. Jordan emerged from her shell a bit as she continued to treat Rafe. Kristen started to suspect that Nicole might have been faking her earlier drunken state. After a return visit to the Capitol Plaza Hotel that raised troubling new questions, Eric asked Marlena for some information about hypnosis. Jennifer fired Theresa after learning that Theresa had stolen money from the hospital. J.J., who had been having trouble finding a new place to live, learned that Daniel's apartment was going to be empty for one night because Daniel was taking Parker on an impromptu trip to see Chloe.

Sonny's erratic behavior continued because he refused to take his medication to treat his bipolar disorder. Morgan and Kiki moved in with Sonny when they were evicted from the boathouse. Michael reluctantly agreed to go to Morgan and Kiki's wedding reception, so he decided to invite Penny as his date. Sonny's toast to the newlyweds turned into a shocking confession that exposed Morgan's lie. Alexis and Sam were delighted when tests confirmed that Danny's bone marrow transplant had been a success. Sam was stunned when she saw Silas and Ava kiss at the wedding reception. Nikolas realized that Britt and her newborn son, Ben, were homeless, so he invited Britt and the baby to stay at Wyndemere. Taylor and Rafe hatched a plan to break up T.J. and Molly. Shawn learned that Vince had been working for Julian Jerome. Julian killed Vince. An explosion rocked Port Charles when Julian made a move against Sonny. Sabrina's old flame, Carlos, arrived in Port Charles. Carlos was revealed to be working for Julian.

Nick broke off his relationship with Avery after he realized that she was still in love with Dylan. Victor confronted Adam about his alliance with Jack. Dylan announced that he was moving out, but he suffered a posttraumatic flashback during a thunderstorm, and he took off with Connor. Avery tracked down Dylan at his father's cabin, where he believed that he was in Afghanistan with Aura. Avery talked Dylan into handing Connor over, and she comforted Dylan over the many losses he'd experienced. Adam threatened to take Connor from Chelsea. Sharon fibbed to Noah that she was still taking her medication and going to therapy. Dr. Watkins advised Sharon that it was critical to continue treatment, but Sharon insisted that she was fine on her own. Jack tried to bribe Victor into walking away from Summer if Jack gave up his interest in Newman Enterprises, and Summer was upset when she overheard. Victor schemed to take down Newman. Nikki and Paul found the church where she'd given birth to her first-born child, and a nun confirmed that Nikki had borne a son. Michael discovered that the music box that Katherine had given Jill had been made in Geneva, Switzerland. Hilary drugged Cane's champagne, and she arranged for Mason to take photos of her and Cane in a compromising position and post them online. Cane later revealed to Lily that he'd only pretended to pass out and that he'd recorded Hilary and Mason's conversation.
