What happened during the week of December 9, 2013

Hope agreed to move forward with a marriage to Liam and to cut ties with Wyatt. Wyatt took the news hard, but promising to respect Liam's marriage, Wyatt implored Liam to at least let the business relationship remain. When Steffy popped in to see Eric, Quinn hustled herself a trip to Paris on Steffy's return flight, under the guise of presenting jewelry to Forrester International. Quinn used the time to try to convince Steffy to fight for Liam, but Steffy refused to interfere. Quinn overheard Steffy receive news from Dr. Caspary that Steffy could conceive again. After a long hiatus, Ridge strode into the Forrester mansion.

J.J. opened up to Jennifer about his past mistakes. Theresa made fun of J.J. when he told her that he was the one that she had been with the night that she overdosed. J.J. was stunned that Theresa had everyone fooled and was back on drugs. Theresa blackmailed J.J. into buying drugs for her or else she would give the courts evidence that would send J.J. to jail. Sami, Kate, and Gabi worried that someone knew their secret. Daniel and Jennifer had a strained meeting at Horton Square. Will asked Gabi, Sami, and Kate what was going on. Abigail seemed touched at E.J.'s sensitive side. Rafe let Kate down gently. Kate warned Jordan not to hurt Rafe. E.J. and Sami had an emotional talk about their future. Will told Sonny that he thought Sami, Kate, and Gabi were planning a surprise party for him. Sonny overheard Sami, Kate, and Gabi admit that they had murdered Nick. Brady was shocked to run into J.J. while trying to buy drugs. Eric agreed to tests that might prove his innocence. Nicole told Eric that she forgave him. Abigail caught J.J. hanging out with his old friends. Adrienne and Will got closer. Theresa filled Anne in on her plan to take down Jennifer.

Robin asked Sabrina to walk away from Patrick, but Sabrina insisted that it should be Patrick's decision, not theirs. Robert assured Anna that he had taken care of Faison, so no one would ever find Faison or know what Robert and Anna had done. Sam warned Carly that Julian might ask questions about Lucas because Sam had mentioned Lucas' name during an encounter with Julian. Sonny and Shawn took Carlos to the cemetery to dig his own grave, but Carlos claimed a family connection to Sonny's first wife, Lily. Sonny decided to hold off on killing Carlos until Sonny could confirm Carlos' story. Heather lured Franco out of his hotel suite so she could kill Carly. Heather was shocked when Franco stabbed her. Franco dumped Heather's body into a freshly dug grave at the cemetery. After Franco left, Heather's hand pushed through the dirt, indicating that she was alive. Kevin agreed to take Franco on as a patient to help Franco sort things out. Lucy and Scott had a one-night stand. Lucy was filled with regret and decided to work on her marriage, so Scott advised her not to tell Kevin about their tryst. Dante and Lulu decided to try again to have a baby but were shocked when Ellie revealed that the frozen embryos were missing. Spinelli went to Maxie's apartment so she could say goodbye to their daughter before he moved to Portland.

Dylan rebuffed Nikki's attempt to reach out to him. Summer empathized with Dylan and encouraged him to give his new family a chance. Avery presented Dylan with a file on Ian Ward. After a lackluster photo shoot, Esmerelda provided Summer with a contact to obtain energy pills. Courtney bought drugs from Raven. Chelsea was relieved when Chloe returned with Connor after going for an innocent drive. Chloe was irritated by everyone's concern about her mental state. Adam anonymously set up a memorial foundation in Delia's name. Adam and Chelsea made love. Jack suggested that Devon take a sabbatical to find himself. Devon disregarded Hilary's warning about Mason, who pretended to be Devon to score a club invitation. Michael and Lauren celebrated their wedding anniversary. Fen was released from prison, but he remained terrified that Womack would make Fen repay his debt. Fen contemplated going on the run. Cassie urged Sharon to tell Nick the truth about the paternity test. Victoria was unnerved by Billy and Kelly's growing bond. Billy couldn't face celebrating Christmas without Delia and avoided going home. Lily's MRI was clean, but she worried about her follow-up tests, and she hid her concern from Neil. Neil prepared to propose to Leslie on Christmas. Cane implored Victor to continue to fund Bonaventure Industries' cancer research. Jill and Jack plotted to take down Victor by causing bad press for Bonaventure. Jill sold her music box online, but it was mysteriously shipped back to her.
