What happened during the week of January 13, 2014

When Wyatt returned from Hawaii, his father gave him the beach house that Katie and Bill had lived in, and Wyatt immediately asked Hope to move in with him. Hope wasn't ready to take that step but hoped he'd ask again someday. Liam asked Charlie to prove Liam's theory that Wyatt had stolen the diamond. Charlie discovered Wyatt doing just that on boutique surveillance tapes, but after receiving veiled threats from Quinn, Charlie told Liam that Charlie hadn't found anything on the tapes. Bill tried to convince Katie that he really wanted to go back home to her, but Katie told him that she was no longer his home. Bill told Brooke that it was hopeless with Katie, but Brooke insisted that he keep trying.

Adrienne let the cat out of the bag to Jennifer about Abigail and E.J. E.J. covered his tracks with Sami about why Abigail had been at the mansion. Jennifer warned Abigail to stay clear of E.J. Eric told Marlena that he had feelings for Nicole. Nicole was shocked to find Dr. Chyka in Daniel's apartment. Nicole and Eric were at Dr. Chyka's mercy. After Dr. Chyka left Eric and Nicole to die, Eric told Nicole that he loved her. J.J. came close to telling Daniel that Theresa was blackmailing him. Jennifer tried to help Daniel out of a jam. Theresa found a way to get what she wanted from Daniel. Julie talked to Kate and Gabi about Nick. Jordan accused Kate of inviting Sheryl to Salem so that Kate could learn more about Jordan's past. Lucas convinced Jordan that Kate knew nothing about why Sheryl was in town. Sonny asked Will to marry him. Brady and Theresa learned that they were both faking their rehab. Theresa freaked out when she found out that Nicole was Daniel's roommate. J.J. made plans to take down Theresa. Julie was hot to find out what had happened to Nick. While at Smith Island, Abigail and E.J. continued to fight their feelings for each other.

Heather hid Carly in the Quartermaine boathouse and then took steps to frame Franco for Carly's "murder." Carly tried to persuade Heather to stop things before they went too far, but Heather was determined to punish Franco for stabbing Heather and then burying her alive. Scott was forced to issue an arrest warrant for Franco. Tracy sent Luke to the boathouse to take care of a vermin problem. Luke was shocked when he found Carly bound, gagged, and tethered to the boathouse floor. Shawn questioned if Morgan could be trusted, but Sonny assured Shawn that Morgan had truly cut ties with the Jeromes. Sonny confided to Morgan that Duke had been secretly helping Sonny to take down Julian. Olivia evicted Julian from the hotel. Bobbie called Lucas to tell him about Carly's disappearance, so he raced to his mother's side. Julian learned that Lucas was his biological son. Lulu met Nathan but didn't tell Nathan that she was Dante's wife. Carlos claimed that he was the father of Sabrina's baby, so Sabrina went along with the lie. Robin was relieved when Patrick told her that he wasn't the father of Sabrina's baby. A.J. had a flashback that made him realize that someone else might have been at Crimson on the night of Connie's murder.

Tyler and Abby placed an offer on a house, but he was later stunned when he learned that his girlfriend had supposedly called to retract their bid. Dylan invited Avery to travel with him to Indiana to search for Ian Ward. Leslie confided to Neil that she felt rushed by their wedding plans, and he agreed to wait. Billy thanked Adam for establishing Delia's foundation. Adam and Chelsea planned to move to Paris, while an obsessed Chloe vowed not to let anyone take Delia away from her. Billy found the same rare lily that Adam had purchased for Chelsea at Delia's roadside shrine. After Kelly declined Victoria's offer of friendship, the women were thrown together to plan a fundraiser for the Delia Project. Kevin refused to give up on his search for the license plate of the hit-and-run driver. Michael was disconcerted by the lack of evidence in Carmine's murder case. Womack made a mysterious call. Christine was upset by Paul's preoccupation with work and Nikki's problems. Noah caught Courtney buying drugs from Raven. Jack, Hilary, and Kyle suspected that Bonaventure Industries was illegally selling an energy supplement. Summer popped multiple energy pills before a photo shoot, and she collapsed on the stairs. Fen was arrested after breaking house arrest to search for Summer. Sharon found an unconscious Summer and got her to the hospital, where Stitch determined that Summer had experienced a cardiac episode. Sharon grappled with whether to tell Nick the truth about Summer's paternity.
