Upon learning of Liam and Wyatt's plan to oust Rick, Pam and Charlie snooped in Maya's purse and discovered her estrogen pills. Charlie readily guessed that Maya was transgender, but Pam refused to accept it or spread the rumor to Liam and Wyatt. Rick purchased an engagement ring and invited Maya on a mysterious celebratory trip to Big Bear. When Ridge heard that Eric was contemplating extending Rick's contract, Ridge resigned. Desperate to stop Ridge from leaving Forrester, Carter revealed to Ridge that Maya's birth name was Myron, and Maya was transgender.

Brady and Melanie were in harm's way when they arrived at Kristen's villa. Theresa learned of Clint's deceit and that he was working with Kristen. Kristen was shocked to see Marlena at her door. When Brady and Melanie tried to escape, Brady fought with Clint and shot and killed him. Kristen fell to her death during a struggle with Marlena. Theresa and Brady met their son for the first time. The police held the group from Salem for questioning in Kristen and Clint's deaths. Lucas broke up a catfight between Kate and Adrienne. Justin paid a surprise visit to Paul. Chad kissed Abigail and told her he still loved her and wanted her back. Serena tried to break ties with Xander. Daniel had words with Nicole again. Eric and Nicole had a nice talk. Stefano broke the news of Kristen's death to Chad. Victor moved forward with his plan to get back at Stefano.

Carly paid Pete to attend the Nurses Ball to expose Hayden as a fraud and Ric as a liar. Jake and Elizabeth admitted that they each missed the other. Jake was surprised when Elizabeth mentioned that Hayden had claimed that Jake and Hayden had been intimate. Jake assured Elizabeth that Hayden had lied. Pete and Carly revealed the truth about Ric's deception during Ric's performance at the ball as Ric proposed to Elizabeth. Elizabeth fled the ball, so Nikolas ran after her to console her. Nikolas was forced to confess to Elizabeth that she couldn't be with Jake because Jake was really Jason Morgan. Brad was shocked when Britt slipped into town to pay him a surprise visit, so they could watch the red carpet arrivals together. Britt was happy for Brad when Brad told her that he and Lucas were living together as a couple. Brad proposed marriage to Lucas during the ball. Michael kissed Sabrina, but Sabrina feared that he had been caught up in a moment of gratitude. Michael assured Sabrina that he was attracted to her. Avery mysteriously resurfaced in Silas' apartment. Sonny was forced to return Avery to Michael in exchange for Michael dropping criminal charges against Morgan and Kiki for drugging Michael. Lulu persuaded Nikolas to let Valerie live at Wyndemere. Sam overheard Olivia and Ned talking about Julian being the father of Olivia's unborn child.

Ashley was livid when Victoria pulled the Hex line, but she refused to allow Victoria to force her out of the company. Chelsea quit when Victoria insisted that Chelsea cater her designs to a focus group. Victor offered Gabriel and Neil jobs at Newman-Abbott. Adam remarked to Jack's imposter that he wasn't really a Bingham. Kelly tried to convince the real Jack that Phyllis was dead and that the world considered him missing after a boating accident. Nick broke up with Sage. Adam and Sage had sex. Billy overheard Chelsea and Gabriel discussing their tryst. During his wedding to Chelsea, Billy announced to the guests that Chelsea had slept with Gabriel.
