Rick didn't care about how Maya had become a woman, but he flew into a rage when he received media notifications that the world also knew. Maya fled the cabin, and as Rick pursued her in his own car, he had an accident. Maya hid out at her old apartment and resigned from her job. As Rick recovered at the mansion, he attacked Ridge for blaming him for the scandal. Ridge urged Eric to invoke the morality clause in Rick's contract. Eric appealed to Rick to step down as CEO, but Rick implored Eric to let Rick remain the CEO to defend Maya -- and Forrester -- from Bill's smears.

J.J set a trap for Eve so she would stay out of his and Paige's life. Paige blasted Cole about framing J.J. Paige lashed out at her mother after she learned of Eve's affair with J.J. Paige disowned Eve and said she never wanted to see her again. At her birthday party, Paige shocked family and friends and revealed that J.J. had slept with her mother. Serena's chat with Daniel caused trouble for Nicole. Xander and Serena figured out that Nicole was onto them. Will provoked Paul into a fight then Will used the incident to get Sonny to take his side. Paul told Sonny he still loved him. Stefano released Marlena but blamed her for ruining Kristen's life and for her death. Paige ended things with J.J. for good. Eve vowed to make Jennifer pay. Theresa was upset that Kimberly was in town. Brady asked Melanie to marry him.

Franco was stunned when Nina married Ric Lansing. A sniper's bullet stopped Hayden from revealing the truth about Jake's real identity to Jake and Sam. Jordan blew her cover when she arrested Shawn for taking the shot at Hayden, but the true hit man answered to Nikolas. Patrick operated on Hayden, but she slipped into a coma during the surgery. Jake told Elizabeth the truth about his deal with Kyle then paid Kyle a visit to explain that he was through working for Julian. Anna killed Carlos, but Kyle decided to cover up the murder. Anna remained haunted by what she had done to Carlos. Jordan persuaded Scott to cut a deal with Shawn in exchange for Shawn testifying that Sonny had ordered the hit on Jake. Shawn refused to take the deal, but Jordan pleaded with Shawn to reconsider because T.J. was Shawn's son. Morgan and Kiki had a heated argument that quickly led to passion. Julian was shocked when Ned and Olivia informed him that Julian and Olivia's son had died of sepsis. Liesl played along with Ned and Olivia's deception because Ned had made a substantial donation to the hospital. Ned arranged for Olivia's son to be moved to another hospital then joined him on the pretext of leaving town on urgent L&B business. A devastated Julian turned to Alexis and told her that he was finished with organized crime. Alexis agreed to stand by Julian as he extricated himself from the mob. Julian and his loved ones were startled when a woman bearing a striking resemblance to Ava, sporting black hair and with a thick New York accent, showed up on his doorstep.

Michael presented Lauren with divorce papers, but she refused to sign them. Paul revealed that the DNA on the envelope was a match to an elusive drug lord, but he was suspicious when the FBI's tests later indicated there was no match. Nikki fell off the wagon again, unable to cope with her guilt over her involvement in Victor's scheme to forge Jack's signature on the merger documents. Neil helped get Nikki sober, but she began drinking again when she learned Dylan and Sharon were involved. Nick informed Sharon that Sage was pregnant, and Sharon took the news surprisingly well, thanks to Dylan's support. Adam demanded that Sage get a paternity test. Phyllis pushed Avery to return home to avoid Joe's manipulations, but Avery insisted on staying with Joe at the rehab clinic. The citizens of Genoa City commemorated Cassie's death. Ashley admitted she had feelings for Stitch, but she didn't want Abby to get hurt. Kelly brainwashed the real Jack into believing they were married, and she unshackled him after he passed a series of tests. Kelly and Jack had sex, but he woke up next to her slaughtered body. The Jack impostor insisted on having a party to celebrate the merger, and he rehired Billy at the company. At the event, the clone announced that he was funding a new hospital wing in memory of Cassie. A mysterious person showed up at the party.
