Lieutenant Baker arrested Sally. Sally resigned herself to her prison fate, leaving C.J. with a hundred thousand-dollar debt and a ready-to-go fashion house on his hands. Zende showed his sketches to Thomas and Steffy, who said they didn't have time to train a new designer. Zende believed it was because he wasn't a real Forrester. At Sally's preliminary hearing, Thomas spoke on her behalf, and Sally told him that she loved him. Ridge said he'd back off if Brooke told him that he had no place in her heart or her future.

Xander shot Brady then took Nicole and Holly hostage. Sonny and Paul rushed Brady to the hospital. Deimos said he hadn't known Xander was alive and denied knowing Nicole and Holly's whereabouts. Chad was surprised to see Eli and Gabi kissing. Kate planned it so that Chad would see Abigail with Dario. Abigail made it clear to Dario that they were just friends. Chad told Abigail that he was not going to give up on her. Snake learned Lani was a cop and forced her to overdose. J.J. reached Lani in time to save her life. Hope had lunch with the Hernandez family. Eric asked Jennifer out on a date. Brady asked Eric to find Nicole and Holly. Xander caught Nicole when she tried to escape. Xander locked Nicole in a cage and took Holly away from her. Theo cheered up Claire when her record deal fell through. Wyatt asked Ciara to be his girlfriend. Rafe went to the hospital to arrest Brady. Valerie told Rafe that Brady's life was on the line. Eric and Jennifer searched for a lead on Nicole.

Ned discovered Samira and Larry had been working together to get their hands on Tracy's painting. A DNA test confirmed that Samira was not Edward's illegitimate daughter. Ned embraced his heritage by legally changing his last name to Quartermaine. Tracy decided to step out of her father's shadow and spread her wings by leaving Port Charles. Tracy's adventure began when she sold her painting for millions then ran into Luke in a coffee shop. Sonny spent the night with a woman he met in a bar. Sonny and the woman crossed paths again when Carly introduced Martina Morales as her divorce attorney. Ava stumbled onto Sonny's secret when she saw him leave the bar with Martina then later bumped into Martina and Carly. Nathan was hurt when Maxie extended her stay in Portland without talking to him first. Nathan had an odd encounter with Anna when she seemingly didn't recognize him. Anna blamed her reaction on medication she'd taken. Anna reminisced with Valentin about the past and mentioned the Chimera Project, but Valentin was tight-lipped about what he'd done with the project's information. Nelle saw Valentin and Anna together, but she opted not to tell Nina. Jason reached an uneasy truce with Franco for Jake's sake. Jake drew a picture of a chimera like the one Sam had found hidden in Helena's book.

Jack confessed his relationship with Gloria to Ashley. Ashley opened up to Ravi about how her mother, Dina, had abandoned her and her siblings years earlier. Neil and Devon made a pitch to acquire Mergeron Enterprises, but Dina insisted on entertaining other offers. Gloria was surprisingly supportive when Kevin informed her that he was Bella's biological father. Nikki continued to take Tessa under her wing. Tessa encouraged Nikki to join her in playing at open mic night, and Victor witnessed the performance. Victor flashed back to confronting Chloe and giving her money to flee. Scott was stunned when Victor decided not to proceed with writing his biography. Chelsea and Jordan agreed not to tell anyone about their former friendship. Phyllis became irate when she believed Billy had lied about Nikki's multiple sclerosis acting up. Billy appeased Phyllis with kisses in the Jabot elevator. Cane arranged for Victoria to see Phyllis and Billy's passionate encounter when the elevator doors opened. Phyllis and Billy told Jack about their reunion. Cane was disappointed when Victoria didn't fire Billy, and Jack advised Cane to make sure Billy screwed up sooner rather than later. Hilary sneaked into Devon's penthouse, and she was devastated when Devon and Mariah returned home and began to have sex.
