Paris was eager to start her wedding planning duties as Zoe's maid of honor, but Zende seemed gloomy as he wished Zoe and Carter a good marriage. Paris suspected that he might not be thrilled about the engagement. Zende denied it and flirted with Paris. Quinn made Shauna swear on Flo's life that Shauna wasn't after Eric. When Quinn asked Eric to let her return home, he still wasn't ready for her to move back in. Hope made it easier for Douglas and Thomas to spend time together. The Hope mannequin took on human form, and during Hope and Douglas' visit to Thomas' apartment, the mannequin urged Thomas to make a move on Hope.

Tripp learned that Ava had raped Steve. Ava visited Kristen in prison. Lani pressured Brady for the truth, and she threw Eli out after confronting him. Brady told Kristen about his confession to Lani. Tripp asked Allie not to send her case to London. Jennifer refused to talk to Jack. Kate and Jennifer argued, and Kate cautioned Jennifer not to give up on Jack. Roman encouraged Jack to fight for his marriage. J.J. counseled Abigail not to be too hard on herself. Gwen started phase two of her plan to destroy Abigail. Shin offered Jake a job as VP at DiMera Enterprises. Gwen told Rolf why she hated Abigail. Claire asked Charlie to be her date at her parents' wedding. Sarah followed Philip to his meeting with Ava, and then she staked out Ava's apartment with Xander. Jan overpowered Belle and took Belle's place as the bride in the wedding.

Dr. Kirk was pleased when Dante provided a flash drive that proved that the evidence that had landed Liesl in jail had been fabricated. Nikolas took responsibility for arranging the hit on Ryan to stop Sonny from questioning Ava. Sam arranged an intervention for Alexis. Carly showed Jax the heart pendant necklace that Avery had found then confided to Jax that Nelle was Nina's daughter. Brook Lynn left town without revealing to Valentin that she might be pregnant with their child. Liz reached out to Patrick Drake to help Franco. Laura told Scott about Cyrus' interest in an old case that involved her. After Sasha suffered a heart attack from a drug overdose, Michael caught Cyrus attempting to turn off Sasha's life support. Chase confessed to Willow the truth about his ruse with Sasha. Michael was stunned when Carly revealed that Sasha had never slept with Chase. After being attacked in jail by one of Cyrus' men, Brad was rushed to the hospital. Britt decided to secretly work with Jason to help take down Cyrus. Cyrus demanded that Julian kill Jason in exchange for Cyrus silencing Ryan. Julian tried to bargain with Cyrus by revealing that Taggert was alive, but Cyrus insisted that Julian plant a bomb at the Floating Rib. Dustin proposed to Lulu just as an explosion tore through the Floating Rib.

Victor gave his blessing for Chance to marry Abby. Victoria presented Adam with a document forfeiting his right to the Newman fortune, but he refused to sign it and tore it up. Victor became angry when he found out what Victoria had done, and he vowed to stand by a deeply damaged Adam. Chelsea considered Adam's pleas for forgiveness. Chloe told Chelsea their friendship would be over if Chelsea reunited with Adam. Victor convinced Sharon to support his petition to the court to have Adam committed for psychological evaluation. As Chelsea arrived at the penthouse to talk things out with Adam, Adam awakened in a mental facility. Evidence started to point to Billy as Adam's shooter. Amanda offered to be Billy's personal attorney. A torn Lily asked Billy to leave ChanceComm while the investigation was ongoing. Nick learned about Faith's drinking and was livid that Phyllis hadn't told him earlier. Victoria threatened to fire Phyllis. Sally was disappointed when Jack dismissed her pitch to head JCV. Theo and Sally agreed to feed one other information to help achieve their individual goals. After encouragement from Jack and Kyle, Summer accepted Lauren's offer to become president of JCV. Devon and Amanda scrapped their fancy dinner plans in favor of takeout and friendly conversation. Elena's dreams prompted her to find out whether there really was something between her and Nate. Devon remained unapologetic, even after learning that Nate might never be able to perform surgery again.
