Heather Lindell had an unusual introduction to daytime television; the day she had to perform her final exam scene to receive her BA in theater from the School of Theater, Film and Television at UCLA, she had to run across town to screen test for Days. Although late, she nailed the role and began taping the next day! Lindell graduated with her class in June, 2004. Lindell trained at the Ray Bolger Musical Theater program at UCLA, incorporating the Stanislovsky and Meisner techniques; she also studied classical voice and ballet.

When younger, Lindell did many commercials, her first at the age of 11 for "Teen Talk Barbie." Pizza Hut, Nike and Kohl's Department Stores were just a few of the others she added to her resume. Heather's feature film debut was in Getting There, the Olsen twins starrer, in which she played the twins' best friend on a road trip. Last summer her childhood dream came true when she was cast in the Tony Award winning Broadway musical Hairspray. Lindell lived in New York and performed in the show all summer and returned to LA to finish her senior year at UCLA. She states proudly that "education has always been my primary focus!" Most recently she completed the lead role in an independent short, Scrambled Eggs, a comedy directed by Lorenzo Mannetti and featuring Michael Rappaport and Dennis Farina.

Lindell says that "before I even knew what a performer was, I was one! I started singing before I could formulate sentences and even playing make-believe with my dolls was an early form of acting." She lives by several mottos: "acting is living truthfully under imaginary circumstances" by Sandy Meisner; "do not wish to be anything but what are you, and try to be that perfectly" by St. Francis DeSales and "the artist is nothing without the gift, but the gift is nothing without the work" by Emile Zola. Lindell never wants to stray too far from the theater and hopes to one day win a Tony Award for originating a role in a new show on Broadway.

Lindell was born and raised in Los Angeles and has two older sisters. She enjoys all forms of dance, including jazz, tap, ballet and modern. Lindell often dog sits for her sister's dog Anthony. Her birthday is February 25.
