Alexia Robinson has secured the role of Alex on The Young and the Restless. If you don't recall reading about a casting call for the role of Alex here on

.com, there's nothing wrong with your memory. The role was previous going by the name "Erin."
Little is known about the character, except that the part was created to fill the void left by Drucilla's (played by Victoria Rowell) departure.
Robinson is no stranger to daytime television. For four years (1990 to 1994), Robinson starred as Meg Lawson on
General Hospital. More recently, she's appeared in the primetime soap,
Savannah as Cassandra Wheeler.
Two other daytime favorites are said to have tried out for the role including Lauren B. Martin (ex-Camille,
As The World Turns) and Sherrie Saum (ex-Vanessa,
Sunset Beach).
