Only a Little More Moore

by Dan J Kroll

Shemar Moore's (Malcolm) on-again off-again departure from The Young and the Restless is once again off... and on!

Moore, who was to have left the show early last year, signed a series of contract extensions that were to have kept him in Genoa City through Christmas of this year. Now, the actor has signed yet another extension, which will keep him in place until January 2002.

According to a Moore spokesperson, this will be the final extension and Moore will definitely leave when his contract extension expires.

Moore has been pulling double-duty (and then some) for quite some time. In addition to his role on Y&R. Moore hosts "Soul Train." He has also been touring with the production of "The Fabric of a Man" and doing work in film, most recently having been seen in "The Brothers."
