The Young and the Restless' favorite scheme queen Gloria Fisher hasn't been seen in Genoa City for months, leaving some fans concerned about the character's future on the CBS soap. And unfortunately for those who miss her, portrayer Judith Chapman says it's a possibility Gloria may never be seen on the Y&R canvas again.
The actress took to Facebook after several fans reached out to ask about her status with the number one soap. "I have no idea when or if GLORIA will be back on Y and Restless," she wrote. "If they never call.. It looks like no... Such is the nature of Soap Operas.. C'est La vie... A shame for those who loved, loving GLORIA.. AND those who loved hating, her...... And a shame for me... Who loved playing her..."
As fans may recall, the last major storyline Chapman appeared in was in November of 2014, when she crossed over to Y&R's sister soap, The Bold and the Beautiful, to attend the Forrester fashion show, reunite with Eric Forrester (John McCook), check out L.A.'s rich men, and test Pam Forrester's infamous lemon bars. Since then, she's appeared sporadically in situations like learning Michael (Christian LeBlanc) had prostate cancer and to warn Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) to watch her back during the Jabot/Newman merger.
