Halloween is just around the corner, and the next project for The Young and the Restless' Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) will surely get fans completely spooked. The actress has agreed to appear in the sixth season of The Haunting Of to tell about a real-life paranormal experience she survived.

Season six of the Lifetime series begins this month with yet another round of celebrities who share experiences of being haunted in their real lives. Shot on location, the show attempts to tell each actor's story from their perspective. Scott's story will premiere in November and will also feature psychic medium Kim Russo, who will investigate the actress' spooky incident.

Teases the official description of the hit show: "At the beginning of each episode, the celebrity will tell their story via first person interview, using dramatic high end re-creations to bring to life the bone chilling events that the celebrity experienced during their paranormal experience. They then meet psychic medium, Kim Russo, who takes the celebrity back to the place of the haunting to uncover the true story of why it took place and who may be responsible. While it will always be scary and hauntingly atmospheric, there will also be moments of raw emotion as in many cases there is a personal connection between the ghost and the haunted celebrity."

Previous daytime stars who've appeared on the show include Charles Shaughnessy (ex-Shane Donovan, Days of our Lives), Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin Reed, DAYS), Linda Dano (ex-Rae Cummings, One Life to Live/General Hospital), and Regis Philbin.
