The holidays are set to be brighter than ever for The Young and the Restless fans because popular actress Beth Maitland is coming back as Traci Abbott.
Soap Opera Digest reports that the actress will be resuming the role she originated in 1982 for a multi-episode storyline arc that begins on December 24.
At the moment, it's anyone's guess on what brings Traci back to town, but no matter what plays out, her appearance is a welcome one. The character hasn't had story since 2014, when she returned to Genoa City and announced she and Steve Connolly (Greg Wrangler) had divorced. Here's hoping whatever circumstances bring her back to the canvas on Christmas Eve aren't as gloomy!
