GH and Y&R star Jason Thompson welcomes baby girl

The Young and the Restless' Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) is the proud father of a bouncing baby girl.

Congratulations are in order for The Young and the Restless star Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott), who has welcomed his new baby.

The actor took to social media to share the news that his wife, Paloma Jonas, gave birth to a baby girl on September 20.

"Rome Coco Thompson," the actor shared on Instagram with a photo of the tiny bundle of joy. "Welcome to earth."

Baby girl Rome joins big brother Bowie, who was born last year on May 23.

"The last year with our son, Bowie, has been the best of our lives," Thompson told People at the time he and his wife announced her latest pregnancy. "I love being a dad, and we're really looking forward to bringing a girl into our little family. No doubt Paloma is excited. Between me, Bowie, and our dog, she's anticipating a sweeter smell in our home!"

Prior to joining Y&R in 2016 as the newest Billy, fan favorite Thompson played General Hospital's Dr. Patrick Drake for more than a decade. His former GH costar Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio) recently gave birth to a baby boy named Otis -- meaning it's quite possible the two new tots could play together at some point in time.
