Both Jason Canela (Arturo Rosales) and Noemi Gonzalez (Mia Rosales) have wrapped their time at The Young and the Restless, leaving their fans and on-screen siblings saddened.

Some fans may be toasting out of happiness now that The Young and the Restless Rosales family has gotten a little smaller, but many others are toasting to exiting stars Jason Canela (Arturo Rosales) and Noemi Gonzalez (Mia Rosales) out of respect and sadness.

Both actors took their final bows as their Genoa City alter egos this week, prompting Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) to pay tribute to the pair on Instagram.

"Feel blessed to have had Jason Canela and Noemi Gonzalez become like family to me. My heart broke today as they filmed their last scenes and are moving along in their journey," he shared along with several on-set family photos. "They have inspired me beyond belief and I'm SO GRATEFUL to not only have worked with them but also to have grown with them. Here's to my Rosales familia!"

Sasha Calle (Lola Rosales) commented on Vilasuso's post, sharing: "I gotta say, today was a tear fest indeed. So grateful for you all. I love you."

Several fans weighed in on the actors' exits under Vilasuso's post, with most comments expressing regret that the characters were leaving. However, as one pointed out: "So sad to see them go. But, hey, it's a soap! They can ALWAYS come back!!"

The character of Artuto was created by former Y&R executive producer and head writer Mal Young and first appeared on the canvas in February of 2018. Canela wowed the powers that be in the recurring role of Nikki's (Melody Thomas Scott) contractor and was given a contract later that same year. After Josh Griffith and Tony Morina took over producing duties at the CBS soap opera, Canela was let go.

Gonzalez joined the cast of Y&R as Rey's estranged wife, Mia, in November 2018. The character shook up the canvas when she cheated on Rey with his brother Arturo -- again -- which didn't exactly make her the most likable GC resident in recent history. News of Gonzalez's exit broke earlier this month.

At this time, there's no indication that Rosales family members Rey and Lola will be leaving the show -- at least not anytime soon. Rey is entangled in a hot and sexy relationship with Sharon (Sharon Case), while Lola has won the heart of Summer's husband, Kyle (Michael Mealor).
