Chancellor House:
Mac freaks when she sees her mother Amanda at the door. Amanda begs Mac to let her in so they can talk. Kay hears the commotion and allows her to come in but says that she must be brief. Amanda tells Mac that she believes her about what happened in St. Louis now and tries to apologize. She knows she can never make up for what happened but wants her daughter to know she feels horrible. Mac can't listen to more and runs out. Amanda tells Kay she won't bother Mac again.

Hotel Room:

Isabella asks Paul what's' bothering him and he finally tells her about his meeting with Victor and what he learned about Christine's last visit to GC. She gets upset at his inability to let go of his ex and realizes she'll never be 1st in his heart. She storms out. Michael sees her run out of the hotel upset.

Gina's:
Neil and Olivia enjoy a post party coffee and talk about her relief at not bumping into Malcolm. Neil explains why Mal left (because he was upset for Phyllis). Liv admits to being touched by that side of Malcolm and admits to possibly remembering the man she fell in love with. Maybe being in love brings out the best in him, she theorizes.

Malcolm and Alex are also enjoying after party drinks too. Mal is depressed for his friend Phyllis until Michael stops by and fills in Mal on Phyllis appearance at the party thanks to him and the fact that Jack re-proposed and they weren't seen again after. Later Alex returns form the bathroom shaken by what she overheard at another table.

Ryan and Victoria stop in for a drink as well. She gets him to spill all he knows about Neil/Liv/Malcolm/Alex. He tells her that Alex will soon realize she doesn't know the kind of man she's marrying. At that moment, Alex walks by and overhears.

Carlton House:
Brad sees that Ash is upset but she doesn't want to talk about it since he never listens to her. She finally breaks down that the big problem is that Colleen is his flesh and blood while Abby is not. He's hurt that she thinks he could ever see Abby as anything less than his.
Upstairs, Traci asks Colleen if she's sensed any of the tension between Brad and Ash but Colleen claims she hasn't. She asks her mom if she regrets the divorce. Traci tells her not to think about such things and leaves the smirking girl to go to sleep.

Mary's House:
Isabella storms in and tells Mary she's been a fool. Mary offers to help but there's nothing she can do, Isabella claims. Later Paul arrives looking for her, but Mary says it's too late. Isabella is packed and gone.

Due to continuing news coverage of yesterday's attacks against The United States, all regular daytime network broadcasts have been put on hold. Therefore, no soaps will be shown today. It is unclear when programming will resume as normal. However, Soap Opera Central will remain on deck and provide complete coverage as soon as we are able.

Again, the thoughts and prayers of all those involved in Soap Opera Central -- our staffers and visitors -- go out to everyone touched by these horrors.

At this time, one may find comfort in the words of Agnes Nixon, a profilic soap opera scribe and creator of All My Children and One Life to Live.

Speaking of the "kinship of humankind under God," Nixon writes:

The great and the least
The weak and the strong
The rich and the poor
In sickness and health
In joy and sorrow
In tragedy and triumph
You are All My Children
