Tricia Cast
Tricia Cast began her acting career at the age of 12 in 1979 when she was cast in the television version of "The Bad New Bears". Until her starring role in the TV sitcom "It's Your Move", Case did guest appearances in several popular TV shows.
In 1986, after a short stint on the soap, "Santa Barbara", Cast took a short-term part on "The Young and the Restless" as Nina Webster, a pregnant teenager. Fans embraced both the character and the actress, and her role was made a contract player, and Nina became the sidekick to the show's young star, Lauralee Bell which earned her a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress in 1992.
Except for a few rare movie roles, Cast left show business in 2000, married Bat McGrath, and they moved to Nashville. Cast, who still remained a "most missed actor" in fan polls, was coaxed back to "the Young and the Restless" for a guest appearance in 2008. Then Cast returned again as a recurring character in 2009 after her husband was exposed as alive and well in Australia after having faked his death twenty years earlier, because he was gay.
