In under a month, All My Children will find itself without a head writer. Rumors about replacements for soon-to-be former head writer Jean Passanante continue to swirl.
Passanante, who will leave her gig as AMC's head writer in July, will be headed to As The World Turns. Some of the replacements rumored to be in line for her job are Claire Labine, the Emmy winning former head scribe of General Hospital and Guiding Light, Barbara Esensten and James Harmon Brown, the current co-head writers of Port Charles, Richard and Carolyn Culliton, the co-creators of Port Charles (Culliton is currently on the As The World Turns writing team, where she just received an Emmy) and Addie Walsh, a writer currently on the AMC writing team.
ABC remains quiet about the possible replacement or replacements and has not issued a statement about Passanante's planned departure.
