Stevie Nicks releases new song for film starring AMC's Tonya Pinkins

AMC alum Tonya Pinkins' new film, Book of Henry, boasts a song written by Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks.

Two legends unite in the new drama film Book of Henry: All My Children alum Tonya Pinkins (ex-Livia Frye) and former Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks.

The film, released in theaters on June 16, is making headlines for a number of reasons, one of which is Nicks's latest single, Your Hand I Will Never Let It Go, was made for the emotional drama.

Produced by crime novelist Gregg A. Hurwitz and director/screenwriter Colin T. Trevorrow, Book of Henry tells the story of eleven-year-old Henry Carpenter, a boy genius who realizes that his next-door neighbor Christina is being abused by her stepfather, Glenn. Henry reports the abuse to social services and to the principal of his and Christina's school, but because Glenn is the town's police commissioner, he has connections in the local government that make Principal Wilder (Pinkins) hesitant to allege abuse, even if she believes Henry. Thus, the boy genius is forced to hatch a plan to save his tortured neighbor.

Naomi Watts, Jaeden Liberher, Jacob Tremblay, Sarah Silverman, Lee Pace, Maddie Ziegler, and Dean Norris also star.

Your Hand I Will Never Let It Go is Nicks's first solo song since 2014, when she released her eighth solo album, 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault.

Pinkins starred on AMC from 1991 to 1995 and again from 2003 to 2009. She also played the role of Heather Dalton on As the World Turns from 1984 to 1986.
