Though a network spokesperson declined to comment, Soap Central has learned that J. Eddie Peck (Jake Martin) has been released from the show.

Appearing with his attorney, Joseph Ranni, former All My Children star Michael Nader (ex-Dimitri Marick, appeared on CNN's American Morning with Paula Zahn today to discuss a lawsuit he's filed against ABC, a lawsuit that stems from his dismissal from the show following a 2001 arrest on drug possession charges.

Reality-based television series have been huge ratings hits in primetime for several years. Now, the reality is making its way to daytime television. Whether or not the ratings boost will find its way to the daylight hours, though, remains to be seen.

A spokesperson for the show confirms that relative newcomer, Jason Olive (Frank Hubbard) has been let go from the show. Olive joined the cast as the son of former supercouple Angie and Jesse Hubbard in July.

Even though the network officially has no comment on J. Eddie Peck's (Jake Martin) exit from All My Children, the actor has released a statement confirming that he will soon be leaving the show he has called him since August 2000.

It doesn't look like Dixie Martin will be resurrected from the dead any time soon. Former AMC star Cady McClain (Rosanna Cabot) has signed on for an extended stay on CBS's As The World Turns.

Marj Dusay's (Alexandra Spaulding) stay on Guiding Light has been extended. Dusay re-joined the cast in December 2002 after actress Joan Collins had to bow out as Alexandra. Prior to re-joining GL, Dusay played AMC's Vanessa Bennett.
