Real-life couple Alexa Havins (Babe Carey) and Justin Bruening (Jamie Martin) will return to All My Children this September in advance of the series' final broadcast on ABC.

Havins made her AMC debut in 2003, creating the role of Babe Chandler. She remained with the show through 2007, when she opted to exit the show to persue other opportunities. The role was recast, and Babe died in 2008 from injuries sustained when a series of tornadoes struck Pine Valley. Havins was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2005.

Havins currently appears as Esther Drummond on the series Torchwood: Miracle Day.

Bruening joined All My Children in 2003, taking on the role of Brooke and Tad's son. Bruening remained with AMC for four years. His character was written off in 2007, when Jamie left Pine Valley to work as a doctor at an AIDS clinic in Africa.

Since leaving AMC, Bruening starred in the short-lived primetime reboot of Knight Rider, and made several guest-starring roles in primetime.

Whole working at All My Children, Bruening and Havins began dating. They married in 2005. In August 2010, the couple welcomed their first child, Lexington Grace.

Both Havins and Bruening will appear in several episodes in September.

Last week, ABC confirmed the return of Julia Barr (Brooke English), David Canary (Adam Chandler), Ray MacDonnell (Joe Martin), and Lee Meriwether (Ruth Martin).

Also returning: Josh Duhamel (Leo du Pres), Carol Burnett (Verla Grubbs), and Leven Rambin (Lily Montgomery).
