Former AMC star Eric Nelsen has landed a spot on the hit NBC primetime series The Blacklist.

The year is starting out pretty great for former All My Children actor Eric Nelsen (ex-AJ Chandler), who just announced that he's landed a gig on NBC's popular primetime series The Blacklist.

"It's official... Start filming tomorrow!" the Florida native tweeted earlier today. "Going to be intenseee. Can't wait for you guys to see it."

Currently in season two, The Blacklist stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Ryan Eggold, and Diego Klattenhoff. At this time, there's no information on when Nelsen will air on the series.

UPDATE:
A rep for the series confirms that Nelsen will be appearing in the 12th episode of season two as David Kenyon, a handsome, charismatic and angry leader of the extreme fundamentalist group behind the recent killings that bring The Blacklist team to Kenyon's compound.
