Former AMC star receives Primetime Emmy nod

The Primetime Emmy nominations were announced today, and former All My Children star Finn Wittrock (ex-Damon Miller) made the list.

The nominations for the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced this morning, and former All My Children star Finn Wittrock (ex-Damon Miller) made the list along with some very talented stars.

Wittrock got a nod in the Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie category for his work in American Horror Story: Freak Show. He's up against his American Horror Story costar, Denis O'Hare, as well as American Crime's Richard Cabral, Bessie's Michael Kenneth Williams, Olive Kitteridge's Bill Murray, and Wolf Hall's Damian Lewis.

Win or lose, Wittrock will be back for another season of FX's American Horror Story anthology. This time, the cast and crew will check into a hotel -- and Wittrock will be involved in a love triangle with Lady Gaga.

For the complete list of this year's Primetime Emmy nominees, which includes Empire's Taraji P. Henson, check out the Emmy Awards' official website.
