All My Children alum Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery) is replacing Mark Steines as the co-host for Hallmark's Home & Family.

It looks like Home & Family host Debbie Matenopoulos will have a sexy new hunk at her side, as All My Children alum Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery) is replacing Mark Steines as co-host for the Hallmark talk show.

Mathison, who has filled in as a guest-host on multiple occasions, will begin appearing on the series full-time this September, when season seven makes its premiere.

"Cameron Mathison, always a fan-favorite in Hallmark Original movies, brings his enthusiasm, zest and spirit to the liveliest how-to show in all of daytime television," said Michelle Vicary, executive vice president of programming and network publicity for Crown Media Family Networks. "TV viewers have come to know Cameron on All My Children and as a correspondent on Entertainment Tonight, and we cannot wait to welcome him to our Home & Family family when season seven begins."

Mathison has a long history in television, which began when he took on the role of AMC's Ryan in 1998. His additional credits include Desperate Housewives, Drop Dead Diva, Hot in Cleveland, The Exes, Along Came a Nanny, and leading roles opposite Days of our Lives' Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) in Hallmark's Murder She Baked movie franchise.

The Ontario, Canada, native has been a frequent guest host since Steines's departure from Home & Family in May. His previous hosting experience includes acting as ET's correspondent, weekend co-anchor, and substitute weekday co-anchor since 2015, and a gig as co-host at the 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

As viewers of the Hallmark series know, Steines was abruptly let go earlier this summer. Matenopoulos addressed the surprising news in early June with a tearful, heartfelt message of appreciation for her longtime costar.

"We are grateful to Mark, and we want to thank him from the bottom of our hearts for six of the most incredible years that he has had here hosting this incredible show that he helped build."
