Oscar-winning filmmaker Bong Joon Ho is bringing his dystopian thriller Snowpiercer to TNT and Netflix, and it stars All My Children alum Lena Hall (ex-Treena).

Filmmaker Bong Joon Ho won big at this year's Oscar Awards with Parasite, which is prompting worldwide interest in his other films -- including 2013's Snowpiercer, which TNT and Netflix are transforming into an upcoming TV series set to star All My Children alum Lena Hall (ex-Treena).

The spine-tingling dystopian thriller is set seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, where all remaining life lives aboard the massive Snowpiercer, a super-train that circles the globe on an endless, furious loop. Inside, the remnants of humanity have been divided into classes: the rich elites inhabit the front cars, while the impoverished "tailies" seethe in the rear cars. What will happen when those who have been subjected to oppression their entire lives decide to resist, rise up, and revolt?

Teases Netflix, "Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival are questioned in this riveting television adaptation."

Snowpiercer stars Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs opposite Hall, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Katie McGuinness, Susan Park, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Sheila Vand, Roberto Urbina, and Sasha Frolova.

Snowpiercer is set to debut on TNT on Sunday, May 17. It will also be heading to Netflix, but sadly only for international viewers at this time; it will hit the streaming service in other parts of the world on Monday, May 25, but the US Netflix plans have yet to be announced.

Hall started her career on AMC in 2008 playing a prostitute named Treena. The character played a part in the storyline that followed Babe (Amanda Baker) going undercover as a prostitute to prove that Richie Novak (Billy Miller) stole J.R.'s (Jacob Young) bone marrow.
