We never thought we'd be writing this, but there's a video of soap opera legend Susan Lucci (Erica Kane, All My Children) riding a mechanical bull. "I look like such a wimp!" she jokes.

Soap opera fans have seen a lot of really crazy stuff over the course of 2020, but daytime legend Susan Lucci (Erica Kane, All My Children) wasn't going to let the year get away without the ultimate cherry on top. In true "hold my beer" fashion, the iconic soap star gave us a moment we never in a million years thought we'd see happen: video of her riding a mechanical bull!

Lucci took to Instagram with a video clip that was recorded in early 2020, when she was a guest host on The Dr. Oz Show to advocate for heart disease awareness. She captioned it, "In 2020, I got to ride a mechanical bull! Thank you @dr_oz!!! #andilooklikesuchawimp"

As can be seen in the video (below), Lucci looked positively poised as she readied herself to take on the bull, but her nerves crept in as the experience officially began. "Go slow!" the actress pleaded, followed by cries of "Oh, no, don't turn it up!" when the bull began moving faster. Eventually, Lucci's wild ride came to an end, and the actress lightheartedly exclaimed, "I'm a wimp!"

Soap fans immediately began making light of Lucci's "ride 'em cowgirl" situation, with one fan named Dustin recalling an early Erica Kane moment in which the AMC character came face to face with a wild bear in the woods and used her signature feistiness to chase the animal away.

"Once you've warded off a grizzly bear, you can do anything! What a ride 2020 has been!" the fan posted. Lucci responded with, "Hahaha! You're so right, Dustin!"

Another fan joked, "You should have said, 'I am Erica Kane!'" to which Lucci responded, "Yes, I should have!"

Yet another fan pointed out, "You survived Adam Chandler [David Canary]. You can do anything," which elicited several laughing face emojis from the actress.

Funny enough, Lucci's career has brought her a bevy of experiences, but this was the very first time that she's ridden a mechanical bull. When a fan asked if the experience had been a goal of hers, the actress confirmed, "Yes -- was on my bucket list!"

Speaking of bucket lists, soap opera fans are hoping that another of Lucci's goals is to be part of the upcoming All My Children reboot, which is being produced by AMC alums Kelly Ripa (Hayley Santos) and Mark Consuelos (Mateo Santos). To date, none of All My Children's daytime stars are signed to the project, though it is reported that "some old favorites" will be a part of the series in some way. Here's hoping Lucci is on the list!
