Blue Lock is a beloved sports series with a highly dedicated fanbase. Given the recent events in the manga, right from the Neo Egoist League’s end to some shocking eliminations, readers are eager to learn more about the upcoming chapters as early as possible.

The Blue Lock manga will be going on break next week, so chapter 303 is scheduled for release on May 28, 2025, at 12:00 am JST, which is a Wednesday. Due to time zone differences, this translates to a May 27, 2025, release for most other locations. The specific global release timings are: 8:00 am PT, 11:00 am ET, 8:30 pm IST, 4:00 pm BST, and 5:00 pm CT. Therefore, international fans will be able to read the chapter on Tuesday itself.

Due to the passion of readers, however, raws and leaks of new chapters become available online 3-4 days before release. Chapter 303, much like the other chapters, will be available to read officially on Kodansha’s manga platform, K MANGA. This will have to be downloaded on mobile through Google Play or the App Store.

What to expect in Blue Lock chapter 303 (speculative)?

Chapter 303 of Blue Lock was teased during chapter 302 and will be titled “Blue Lock Japan”. This will most likely kick off the new arc of the series, as the main cast begins their preparation for the U-20 World Cup.

Isagi, whose rivalry against Rin has only intensified, will have to hone his egoism further to achieve his dream of becoming the best in the world. Since this is the final stage of the project that Jinpachi Ego has tirelessly worked toward, fans can expect new challenges beyond their expectations.

At the same time, there is also a possibility that chapter 303 will be a lighter one, where the participants get some downtime before the World Cup, which is less than 50 days away. Similar to how there was a relaxing chapter before the Neo Egoist League, characters may get a moment to catch their breath before jumping back into their training.

Blue Lock chapter 302 summary

Blue Lock chapter 302, called “It’s Fine”, was highly anticipated by fans since they were expecting it to dive into Nagi’s life after his elimination from the project. While the latest installment delivered on that front, it also turned out to be an extremely depressing experience for fans of the lazy prodigy.

The new chapter opens with Nagi being woken up by his alarm clock and greeting his cactus. Following this, he left for his school, Hakuho High, where he was greeted by classmates who were captivated by his performance in the matches.

When being questioned on whether he would capitalize on his offers and turn pro, Nagi told them to forget it and that he was done with football. The rest of the chapter continues in this sombre tone, as Nagi attempts to readjust to the life he once had.

Eating during class, playing video games, and whiling away time with no purpose, he tried convincing himself that everything was fine. While cycling and reminiscing about his time with Reo, he saw a promotional poster for the U-20 World Cup with Rin, Isagi, and Shidou’s faces.

Back in school, Nagi continued trying to tell himself that he had no regrets. However, upon seeing his classmates playing football outside, he broke down into tears, wondering why he hadn’t tried harder. Not putting up a facade anymore, Nagi wallowed in self-pity as he couldn’t feel the excitement and fun from Project Blue Lock anymore.

Despite wanting to forget it, he was unable to do so, desperately wishing to go back and chase after Isagi and Reo. The chapter ends with a heartbreaking shot of Nagi’s face, filled with emotions and overflowing with tears for the first time in the series.
