What to expect from Blue Lock chapter 304 (speculative)?
Given that Blue Lock chapter 303 finally announced the start of the preparations for the U-20 World Cup, chapter 304, titled The Patron of Dreams, will likely jump straight back into training. Ego would most probably address the cast and reveal his latest spark of ingenuity to strengthen their egos.
The 23 remaining players will have to unlock a new level of selfishness for the sake of making themselves stand out and gain a position on the starting lineup. With the rivalry between Rin and Isagi only heating up, and the protagonist having set his sights on the very top, readers can expect exciting developments.
Additionally, since every chapter after Nagi’s elimination has given a sneak peek into the prodigy's return to ordinary life, there is a good chance that chapter 304 will continue this trend, heightening fans' anticipation for his eventual comeback.
Blue Lock chapter 303 recap
Chapter 303, titled Blue Lock Japan, marks the official beginning of phase three of Jinpachi Ego’s project, the U-20 World Cup. The chapter starts by featuring the JFA Chairman, Hirotoshi Buratsuta, who is overjoyed with the Neo Egoist League’s success and the profits generated.
Jinpachi Ego soon entered the scene and was initially praised by the Chairman. However, Buratsuta then started complaining about Seishirou Nagi’s elimination, demanding that he be brought back due to his popularity and the money he could generate. Ego immediately shot him down, establishing that he was the god of his project.
Meanwhile, Anri, along with the flag bearers of Project Blue Lock, gave a press conference about the upcoming U-20 World Cup. After a rundown on the two phases till then, Anri explained phase three, where 64 countries would participate in the exciting tournament set to be hosted in Japan.
With monstrous talents such as Loki and Kaiser, as well as the New Generation World 11, Blue Lock Japan would face its biggest test yet. The scene then shifts back to Ego’s meeting, where Buratsuta is outraged, explaining how it was he, and not Ego, who was the God of Japanese football.
Nevertheless, Ego still refused to bring back Nagi, even threatening to quit if he wasn’t given his ideal team. Buratsuta finally had to give in, but warned Ego that he would be fired if he failed to win the U-20 World Cup. Ego expressed that that was always his plan.
Finally, back at the press conference, just as reporters were getting fired up about the rivalries they would witness, Isagi was called to address the crowd. The protagonist stepped up to the stage and confidently declared that Japan would win and that he would make the World Cup the hottest place for football on Earth.
The chapter ends on a depressing note, as fans get to see Nagi playing games at an arcade without any interest. A timer shows that 47 days are left till the World Cup.
