The Boruto anime and manga series has made great progress since its inception. The first-ever chapter was released back in 2016. Since then, the protagonist and his comrades have gotten incredibly strong.

There were many characters who were closely associated with the protagonist of the story, but failed to receive much screen time. One such character is Himawari Uzumaki. The lack of screen time was understandable since she was just a child. However, the Two Blue Vortex changed all of that as she is now on the verge of surpassing her own father.

Himawari Uzumaki is technically nowhere near Naruto’s level when he was in his prime. However, a few things give her the potential to surpass Naruto. What many fans don’t know about Himawari is that she is the newest Nine-Tailed Beast Jinchuriki in the manga series. Kurama’s death was one of the most emotionally impactful moments in the anime.

Fans missed the Nine-Tailed Beast and his interactions with Naruto. However, Himawari seems to have Kurama residing in her. That being said, this version of Kurama is relatively small compared to the one we have seen. There is a lot about this relationship in Boruto that is shrouded in mystery. We don’t know how Himawari Uzumaki managed to become the Nine-Tailed Beast Jinchuriki.

However, we do know that she has the best synergy with Kurama compared to all previous vessels. This implies that Himawari will do a better job of extracting Kurama’s true potential than her father. This information was provided by Kurama himself when the two were conversing in the realm where only the Jinchuriki and their respective Tailed Beast exist.

However, words alone don’t mean much to anime fans, and they prefer feats to back such claims. Himawari managed to create a Tailed Beast Bomb on the day she realized she was a Jinchuriki. It took Naruto a long time to harness Kurama’s chakra, let alone create Tailed Beast Bombs.

There is no doubt that the Tailed Beast Bomb seen in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex was small. However, the fact that she intuitively implemented this technique moments after becoming a Jinchuriki is an exceptional feat.

Himawari Uzumaki is a side character in the Boruto series. While some might argue that she is a deuteragonist for accompanying Boruto on his journey, her involvement in the story was very little during the initial stages. Therefore, she has taken on the role of a side character in the series. However, her importance to the overall story might change as the Two Blue Vortex manga series progresses.

One of the most prominent motifs in the series is the strength of the next generation. Himawari is from the next generation of shinobi and kunoichi. Additionally, the manga revealed that she could potentially surpass her father. Therefore, fans have reason to believe that she could possibly help the protagonist in a life-threatening situation when facing the final antagonist of the series.

Himawari’s recent power-up has set her up to take on powerful foes as Two Blue Vortex advances. She is the new Nine-Tailed Beast Jinchuriki and has the best synergy with Kurama compared to all previous vessels. This, combined with the aforementioned motif, hints at Himawari surpassing her father in the manga series. However, only time will tell whether or not Himawari will put in the effort to realize her true potential in the Boruto series.
